Water blasted graphic stenciled into two retaining walls running along Sepulveda Blvd. Subject matter for iconography was provided by local community members through crowdsourcing imagery of what defined the area both environmentally and culturally. Through workshops and an online forum, ideas were shared and eventually formed the collaged image. The image was waterjet cut into 40 steel stencils, which were reused approx 10x each. The stencils will become part of a future exhibition and not be discarded.
